Amazing that each of you were able to present all that creative work in approximately 5 minute presentations. It meant that you knew your work very well and had given some thought to how you wanted to discuss it quickly.
Some highlights from your time there at MODA. There were some great surprises (some of the videos and some of the exterior interstitials) and each of you should be proud.
Of course in any type of presentation like this some of the campaigns were stronger than others (presentation/potential/missed opportunities/grammar) but as a collective group of designers it was not only memorable but inspiring at times.
A big shout out to Brenda Galina, Laura Flusche, and Katie Simms for supporting and embracing your work with such enthusiasm. We are very lucky to have worked with MODA for the past few years on various projects. They are such a great creative team and understand art and design and community. I hope you know just how lucky you are to work with them, plus, they are all just great people to be around.
Some uniquely beautiful printed invitations were created for the scheduled events.
Strong design, scale, organization of type and imagery was successful for the majority of you. Not surprising to me that some of the best work ever created (in my opinion) by several of you was demonstrated at this presentation. You know who you are.
The greatest gift any professor can have is to sit back and watch a gifted student finally reach their fullest potential in one breath taking moment during a presentation such as it was with MODA this past Thursday. I celebrate those individuals who realized their competitiveness and artistic voice as was demonstrated among your peers.

I hope each of you will one day look back on this semester and know how fortunate you were to participate with both HLN and MODA. Not to be taken lightly as you begin to realize that your work is "bigger" than yourself, your studio and your own world.
Congrats for all the dedicated work you've put forth so far.
A word to the wise to all of you as you enter your final semester in the Graphic Design program and your BFA Degree: Each of you still have a long way to go so don't get overly confident that the hard work is already done...it isn't. Actually it's just beginning as you prepare yourself and your work for the professional world.
You're only as great as your weakest work.
